Nutritional Therapy combines the science of nutrition with a detailed understanding of the individual client to produce a unique and practical dietary and lifestyle programme which addresses the underlying causes of many health problems. This in turn enables the client to make effective and permanent changes.

It offers a complementary and holistic approach for a wide range of recognised medical conditions and general health problems.
Although healthy eating is a large part of the therapy offered, Philippa also uses a combination of specific dietary and lifestyle programmes, which may include naturopathic techniques, biochemical tests and appropriate supplements. All treatment programmes are unique, taking into consideration the client's genetic, biochemical, age, gender, physical, mental and emotional individuality.
Nutritional therapy aims to:
- Manage a current health problem
- Improve your general sense of wellbeing
- Promote optimal health
- Reduce the risk of developing degenerative disease
- Cope with lifestyle or sporting challenges and maximize athletic performance.
It does this by:
- Restoring healthy digestion
- Correcting vitamin and mineral deficiencies
- Nutritionally supporting biochemical systems
- Identifying food intolerances
- Reducing the body's toxic load
- Highlighting beneficial and damaging foods and drinks
- Detoxifying the body
- Promoting a positive attitude to life
