Homeopathy is one of the two most widely used forms of medicine in the world today, because people are discovering the benefits of a system of medicine that is safe, effective and that treats them as unique individuals.Homeopathic remedies work by stimulating the body's own natural defence system, recognising that symptoms are an indicator of underlying dysfunction. Homeopathy endeavours to get to the core and treat the “cause” of the problem, rather than just the symptoms.
Lisa has over 9 years experience as a Homeopath and completed a post-graduate in Women's Health & Midwifery. She specialises in children's behavioural problems, ADHD and physical ailments, all stages of pregnancy, to the actual birth itself and post-natal issues. Food intolerances are usually subtle and very difficult to isolate without food intolerance screening. This is because our bodies will often adapt to the intolerance, even crave the particular food and still react to it! These reactions can occur in a seemingly unconnected location (maybe the skin), often after a considerable delay and sometimes with a variety of symptoms.
For most people with food intolerance, symptoms begin very subtly and gradually and they have no idea that all these symptoms are connected until they try an elimination diet. This illustrates the importance of having a food intolerance screening to overcome the difficulty of isolating these foods. The procedure is totally non-invasive and the patient feels no electrical or other unpleasant sensations and all results are received on the day. Lisa tests for over 200 different food substance, toxins, fungi's, bacteria's, viruses, environmental factors and vitamin & mineral deficiencies.
